InsolvencyHub is an independent online resource for insolvency and restructuring professionals, directors and others with an interest in the UK insolvency market. We operate at www.insolvencyhub.org. We are not affiliated with, owned by, or paid by any insolvency practitioner firm. We are independently operated. What information we collect

We collect information in the following circumstances: When you submit a contact form or enquiry — we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. When you submit a firm listing enquiry — we collect your name, firm name, email address, phone number, website and the information you provide about your firm. When you submit a director enquiry — we collect your name, contact details and information about your situation. When you use the website — we may collect standard technical data including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited through our analytics provider. This data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to: Respond to your enquiry or contact form submission. Connect directors with insolvency practitioner firms where you have requested this. Process firm listing enquiries and follow up with firms interested in listing on the directory. Improve the website and understand how it is being used. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Who we share your data with

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances: Where you have submitted a director enquiry to a specific firm, we will share your contact details and enquiry with that firm so they can respond to you. We use Supabase (supabase.com) to store data submitted through our forms. Supabase is a GDPR-compliant data platform. We use Vercel (vercel.com) to host the website. Vercel may collect standard technical logs. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry and contact form data is retained for up to 2 years, after which it is deleted. Firm listing enquiry data is retained for as long as the firm is listed on the directory or for up to 2 years if no listing results. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

InsolvencyHub uses minimal cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies that follow you across other websites. We may use essential cookies necessary for the website to function correctly, and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns. Analytics data is not used to identify individual users. You can control cookie settings through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights: The right to access the personal data we hold about you. The right to correct inaccurate data. The right to request deletion of your data. The right to restrict processing of your data. The right to data portability. The right to object to processing.
